Congratulations to Hunter Academy of Sport athlete Brett Paddison who was awarded the 2011 inaugural Hunter Academy of Sport Bravery in Sport award which is sponsored by the Australian Hotels Association.

Brett is a member of both the Archery and Athletes with a Disability Squad. 

Having survived a serious car accident several years ago, Brett showed enormous strength and fought back to not only make a recovery but to also take up competitive Archery and excel in this sport.

Brett is a fine example of Bravery in Sport. Well done Brett.
